Welcome to Voyage Academy! We are excited that you are considering our school. Our student enrollment is managed through a lottery system. You can use this page to apply for enrollment.

Our lottery for NEW students (not already enrolled at Voyage Academy) for the 2026-2027 School Year opens Monday, December 1st. We run the lottery for siblings of current students and those with preferential enrollment on Monday, December 15th . The first general lottery will be held on Wednesday, January 7th. Acceptance emails will be sent this same day. Enrollment will continue and spaces will be offered as they become available. 

For students to be eligible to attend Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 School Year they need to turn 5 on or before September 1, 2026. If your student is entered into the lottery and they are not eligible for enrollment, they will be removed from the lottery and you will need to enroll them for the year in which they will be eligible.

Voyage Academy uses a lottery system for student admissions due to high demand. Preference is given to currently enrolled students and their siblings, provided there are openings. The school does not discriminate in its admission policies, in alignment with public school standards.

 

What is a Lottery?

When applications exceed available spots, students are selected through a random lottery. If chosen, siblings in the same household may also be admitted if space allows. Preference is given to siblings of current students and to students already enrolled.

 

Lottery and Notifications

The lottery opens every December and January for the upcoming school year. During this time, current students are re-enrolled, and waitlisted students can confirm their continued interest by completing an online form. Once openings are determined, a sibling lottery is held, followed by a general lottery for remaining spots. Additional lotteries occur as needed when spots open up. If your child is selected, you’ll be notified by email and given a set number of days to accept or decline. Openings may occur during the school year, so consider whether you’re willing to move your child mid-year.

 

Waitlist and Chances of Acceptance

The length of the waitlist varies as new applications are submitted daily. You can check your child’s placement by calling 801-776-4900. Acceptance chances are unpredictable due to fluctuating applications and limited openings.

 

Acceptance and Communication

If your child is accepted, you’ll receive a phone call or email. Be sure someone can check messages while you're away. To update your contact information or withdraw your application, call the school at 801-776-4900.
